Battery Disposal Information

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:

Please dispose of your used batteries as required by law at a municipal collection point or return them free of charge to local retailers so that raw materials and possible pollutants can be specifically recycled. Disposal in household waste is strictly prohibited by the Battery Act!

You can return used batteries that we offer or have offered as new batteries in our range to us free of charge after use or send them to us by post with sufficient postage.

Batteries or rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous substances are marked with this or a similar symbol of a crossed-out garbage bin:

The symbol of the crossed-out garbage bin means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.

Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead.

Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium.

Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury.
